Business, Services and Merchandise Donations

| Businesses often donate gift certificates for services or products that the company sells. Some of the certificates that have been donated are dinner-for-two, airplane flights or tickets, boat rides, condominium stays, and store merchandise. These gift certificates are typically used as prizes in a silent auction at our events; occasionally, the certificates are used to obtain items needed for the running of an event or the organization. All businesses are listed on our website as a Supporter. Businesses donating a gift certificate for the Take a Swing at Cancer softball tournament will be listed on the event T-shirts. |
Services donated to the organization are also appreciated. These
services could include the use of a PA system, use of a rental truck,
use of furniture, phone service, etc. Please contact us if you have
ideas to discuss. Businesses donating services will be recognized in
the same way as businesses donating gift certificates. |
| Merchandise may also be donated to the organization. Merchandise can include items that can be sold at our events, such as food, drinks, baseball bats, collectibles, etc., or items that we can use, such as scorebooks, softballs, office supplies, etc. Businesses donating merchandise will be recognized in the same way as businesses donating gift certificates. |
